OPEN Stereotactic Gamma-ray Radiotherapy System adopts the principle that the Gamma rays from multiple sealed cobalt-60 radiation sources with minor activity, collimated by collimators, focus at the focal point and form a stronger dose field. The medical-image-guided target is put at the radiation focus, and the tumor tissue in target is killed radioactively, while the surrounding normal tissues are spared. As a result, the non-invasive treatment could be achieved.
