The Whole-Body Stereotactic Gamma System (SGS-Ⅰ+) is newly developed generation of focused stereotactic precision radiation non-invasive treatment equipment, based on SGS-Ⅰ, sharing the same treatment principle and clinical applications. SGS- Ⅰ+makes 32 cobalt-60 radiation sources separated into 4 groups in focusing layout on 4 neighboring fan-like sectors. Compared to SGS-Ⅰ, SGS-Ⅰ+ enhances the activity of sources at initial installation, and focus dosage rate, increases SAD (source axis distance), extends treatment space, and improves the dose distribution at the focus as well; It owns improved mechanical designing, especially the improved rigidity of radiation units and 3D treatment couch.
